Please review our salon policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our clients.
Deposits
To secure your appointment, we require a deposit at the time of booking for selected treatments. Deposits are taken to protect our team’s time and to reduce late cancellations and no-shows.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new appointment if at least 24 hours’ notice is provided. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to attend your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.
The remaining balance is payable on the day of your appointment.
Privacy Policy
Information collected from our client form, booking page or website is only used if we need to contact you for further information regarding your appointment and the occasional marketing offer/update about CalmNessy. Only employees with traceable logins have access to your appointment, contact, or payment history. Your information is strictly confidential and never sold or shared and is always kept private for your protection. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in providing us with the information we need to best serve you.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Every client is important to us, and we understand things come up that may cause you to miss your appointment. With that in mind we also want to give the appointment the time and attention it deserves or offer to someone who may be waiting for an appointment.
As a result, we respectfully request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or make changes to your appointment. Failing to give 24-hour notice will result in a 50% charge of your booked service. Any no-shows will be charged 100% of their service amount.
Late Policy
Please be sure to arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving late may result in your appointment being cancelled or rescheduled. Please call us on 01454 358085 if you are going to be over 10 minutes late, so we can advise you on whether to attend your appointment.
Refund Policy
Our goal is for each client to love their results. If you are dissatisfied with your service, our refund policies are laid out as such:
- Services received cannot be refunded. We will gladly adjust any service you receive within two days of your appointment. If you are not satisfied with the work performed, please return to the salon, so your treatment can be inspected. At that time, we will make every effort to correct any problems to your satisfaction by rescheduling with no additional charge to you. Traditional nail polishes are not guaranteed once you have left the salon.
- Refunds for products purchased will only be considered if presented within 7 days of purchase. Products can only be refunded if unused and in its original packaging. If a product is opened or used, it is possible that a restocking fee will be charged. For all product refunds, a receipt is necessary.
Other Policies
Age Requirements
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and have adults' permission for certain treatments.
Food and Drink
We love to keep CalmNessy clean and restrict foods being brought into the salon (unless agreed by Management), we do provide some lovely refreshments and occasional treats!
Furry Friends
We do love our pets! However, because of hygiene reasons, pets are not permitted in the salon unless guide dogs.
Right to Refuse Service
We have the right to refuse a client which is a protective layer to ensure you and our employees work in a safe, cooperative environment with clients who understand how to act in our salon.
